• Application:The Slurry-Water Balance Microtunneling machine can be used under conditions of high groundwater pressure and a wide range of soil qualities. The applicable pipe diameters are in the range of φ600mm to φ4000mm. Both Steel and RCC pipes can be laid.
•  Principle:   NPD range offers Full-Face cutting of soil. The Slurry Pressure is used to balance the Earth Pressure and Groundwater.  Water is used as the medium of conveying spoil. The Slurry-Water balanced Microtunneling system is mainly composed of a Cutter Head, a Operation Control Panel and other Auxiliary equipment. The Cutter Head has a PLC control box. The Operation Control Panel gives action signals to control the movement of the Cutter head. The entire drive is guided using state of the art laser guidance system. The dredging system removes the spoil, separates the soil from the muddy water, and recirculates the water.  The pipeline is jacked in by the hydraulic main jacking system. Later, a new pipe is lowered by the crane and the above process is repeated till the completion of Microtunneling drive.
